My life is intertwined with the sacred/spiritual so to talk about my life I have to talk about God. I grew up in Vancouver and as a young girl I had a few very beautiful & life altering experiences which I have come to know are called mystical experiences. In 1992 I started attending Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design and graduated in 1997 with honours & a BFA. While at Art School I studied multi-media but since graduating I have been mostly painting. I have developed a passion for
painting Byzantine Icons. I paint in the traditional style using egg tempera paint & 22 carat gold leaf. It is a very exacting discipline but also very rewarding.
