My
life is intertwined with the sacred/spiritual & that is where I find
my Muse.
I attended Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design and graduated in 1997
with honours & a BFA. While at Art School I studied multi-media but since
graduating I have been mostly painting. I have developed a passion for
painting Byzantine Icons. I paint in the traditional style using egg tempera
paint & 22 carat gold leaf.
It
is a very exacting discipline but also very rewarding.
As a
gallery owner, I am enthused by connecting with other artists & the
larger community in showing work that both intrigues & challenges.
