We
are very pleased to offer this class taught by Sharon Burrows. Sharon
has written out and illuminated 'The Legend Of Mary Magdalene' and brings
years of art study and practice to her teaching. You will illuminate
5 letters in Celtic, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Contemporary
Styles- and complete the class by binding your work into a miniature
soft cover book in an authentic medieval style.
An
introduction to calligraphy will compliment the class and consist of
identifying the appropriate script to go with each type of illumination
style to get historically accurate designs.
